  1. hi i am sunira i had completed my +2 in science at 2068..i had lost 1 yr now i dnt have enough knoweleged about which subject should i choose for further education would u plz give your kind information where i should visit…

    • 1st of all you will hv to select either of your science subjects and then go for graduation doing honours in your selected subject OR if you are interested in maths and physics then go for engineering OR if biology is your subject then do biotechnology.

  2. You may join BDS also! Some non medical subjects like Agriculture, Development Studies, IT are also good choice!

  6. Where to study for entrance preparation ? Orbit or Name or Vibrant ?

    • Hello Rajan,
      I am not exactly sure of it but although NAME is an old institute, Orbit and Vibrant are rising institutes and have newer techniques. So make some research among people studying at Orbit and Vibrant.

  7. hey i just finished my A level and i want to do mbbs as my further study but the thing is that i want to prepare for the entrance exam by selfstudy, would it be good to prepare for mbbs entrance by self,not atttending any institution and where can i get the entrance preparation book in ktm??

      You find out the syllabus, get the preparation books and start your self study. But make sure to attend mock exams conducted by institutes. You can get entrance preparation books for MBBS at bookstore on the entry to NAME.

  8. I just finished my A level and want to pursue further study in m.b.b.s. but i do not want to take any entrance preparation class, is it possible to prepare like that? And as i had studied A level will it affect my chances of getting scholarship??

      In Institute of Medicine, No.
      But in MOE, 20 marks are allotted for +2 marks, so it could affect depending upon the score you are awarded in A levels.

      Hello Manisha
      Since you have had a gap, if your interest is in Medical Science, do join MBBS entrance classes as it’d help to bridge the gap of a year. Self study is another option but you need resources and ideas.
      To go into another section is up to you totally and depends on your interest and determination.

  10. Is it the only chance for us to study in Maharajung, Teaching hospital if we are in scholarship merit list in IOM entrance.
    Or , have we got other chances too? Is there any possibility that we can study there through MOE entrance exam?
