Coffee, the drink that origionates from Ethiopia is created from the roasted beans (seeds) of the Coffea Plant which is a small shurb/tree. It is a drink that that can be good for you skin when topically applied and in some studies it has been suggested that the chemical compound in coffee – caffeine could have a UV protective effect for our skin. You could try adding some instant coffee to your bath water and then gently exfoliate your skin with a natural sponge, brush or flannel. It will leave your skin feeling silky smooth.

Scientists have reported that caffeine could be added to sunscreen to boost protection against the most common form of skin cancer.
