Mostly 1 s: The quest for healthy living is the mantra of your life. You believe in the overall health and well-being and therefore, ready to take any new health activity that challenges you. The good thing is that you are not overconfident when it comes to health as you believe that even a healthy person can fall ill. Therefore, you have bought a health insurance policy for yourself.
My advice— Don’t be so hard on yourself, slow down sometimes. Remember, the objective of a healthy lifestyle is to enjoy the life even if it means indulging on your favourite items once a while.
Mostly 2 s: You are a lazy person for whom good health is an impossible task. Though you love to spend time with your family and friends; you never like the idea of exercising. You don’t just eat when you’re hungry, in fact, you eat when you are bored, happy, sad, angry. Mainly, you live to eat. You have one goal in your life— eat and relax.
My advice— Think, how long your body will go like this? Soon diseases like high blood pressure, high cholesterol level, heart attack, etc.; will attack you. Remember, your today’s lifestyle will decide your future, so introduce some exercise and diet plan and bring some changes in your life. Though you will have a tough time in dealing with these changes. However, your today’s actions will help you in the long run.
Mostly 3 s: Though, you try to stay away from unhealthy food habits, you don’t believe in the concept of healthy living. You think avoiding or cutting the intake of junk food is the right way to control weight. In short, you are someone who neither believes in the concept of healthy living nor denies it.
My advice— It is good that you stay away from unhealthy food habits. However, you have to take some steps to keep your body healthy. Whatever things you know about healthy living, it is the time to implement them. Light exercises won’t harm you in any way!
One Last Advice
Either blame our current lifestyle or genetic factors, it is hard to find a person who has never faced a health issue in his/her life. If we look at the current medical inflation rate, a one visit to the doctor for ailments like cold and cough is enough to disrupt your monthly budget. So, it is necessary to buy a comprehensive health insurance policy in India which can guard you against soaring medical expenses and help you avail the best medical treatment without worrying about expenses. Moreover, most of the health insurance policies come with benefits like pre & post hospitalization coverage, AYUSH cover, free health checkups, etc.
If you are someone who understands the importance of health insurance policy but relies only on their corporate health insurance, it is time to reconsider your decision. Your employer health coverage will lapse once you leave the job or retire. Also, corporate health insurance depends on the whims of the employers and therefore, it can be trimmed anytime without pre-notice. What if tomorrow your employer cancels or cuts the health insurance coverage? To prevent yourself from facing such kind of issues, buy an individual health insurance policy.
Further, if you think that you are healthy and you won’t fall ill, we would advise you to take it as an opportunity to get a wide health insurance coverage along with wellness benefits. Nowadays, some health insurance companies in India reward those policyholders with wellness points who have adopted a healthy lifestyle like hitting the gym, doing yoga, taking part in the marathon, etc. These wellness points can be redeemed to avail those benefits like OPD consultation, dental expenses, medicine & drugs, diagnostic expenses, etc.; which are usually not covered under a normal health insurance policy. See, how your good health helps you!
In case you already have a health insurance policy, make sure it is sufficient to deal with the medical expenses. Buying an inadequate health insurance policy is equal to no insurance policy!
